VetNotes is an AI clinical assistant for veterinary clinics. Vets spend hours every day writing clinical notes after consultations. We turn that into minutes. They get their evenings back. Their clinics run faster. Their patients get better care.

We're used by clinics across the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, UAE, and growing globally. We're growing fast, and don't waste time. Small team, high trust, real ownership.

Why we're hiring

Meta ads is our growth engine.
We need someone to drive it.

We currently run Meta ads β€” our primary lead channel. We've been at it for 4 months with real data, real learnings, and real room to scale. Right now, the founder is managing ads while running the company. That's slowing us down.

We need someone who lives and breathes performance marketing to take this over, treat the budget like their own money, and 2x our pipeline over the next 6 months. We also need consistent video content β€” founder vlogs, customer stories, behind-the-scenes. Less polished, more authentic.

Three things, in order of priority.

60% of your week

Meta Ads

Full ownership of the ads account. Campaign architecture, creative testing, audience experiments, scaling winners, killing losers. Weekly reporting on CPL, CAC, and lead quality. One goal: more qualified vet clinic leads per dollar spent.

30% of your week

Video Content

Editing raw footage into TikToks, Reels, LinkedIn videos, and longer YouTube content. Briefing and producing new ad creative continuously. Running our organic social presence so it doesn't go quiet between campaigns.

10% of your week

Design & Web

Canva graphics for socials and sales collateral. Framer website updates and landing page tweaks. Smaller part of the role, but it matters β€” consistency across all touchpoints.

The person

Are you the right fit?

You're a fit if…

  • You've personally run Meta ads for 3+ years and managed at least $5k USD/month in real budgets. Not 'supported the team' β€” YOU on the keyboard.
  • You've worked with B2B or B2B SaaS clients. You understand longer sales cycles and that lead quality matters more than CTR.
  • You can edit video. Premiere, CapCut, DaVinci β€” whatever your tool, your portfolio is your proof.
  • You write good English. You'll write ad copy and talk to the founder weekly.
  • You think strategically, not just executionally. When a campaign tanks, you know how to diagnose it.
  • You're hungry. You want to own outcomes, not just check tasks off a list.

You're not a fit if…

  • Your portfolio is 90% e-commerce or dropshipping ads. B2B SaaS is a different game.
  • You want a job where you're given a brief and you execute. We want a partner who proposes the brief.
  • You want to manage clients on the side. This is a full time, dedicated role.
  • You haven't actually run Meta ads. You've watched courses and helped people, but you've never had the password to the ad account. Apply again when you have.

Compensation & perks

The deal.

USD $1–2k/month

Base rate depends on experience. Reviews at 3 and 6 months. Real upside for real performance.

Performance bonus

Tied to CPL targets and lead quality once we agree on baselines together.

Paid via Wise

Paid monthly via Wise. Independent contractor β€” you handle your own taxes.

AEST hours

Mon–Fri with at least 6 hours overlap with Sydney time (~8am–4pm PHT).

Sick & Holiday Leave

Paid sick leave and holiday leave included.

AUD $500 equipment

Equipment allowance after 3 months. New laptop, new monitor, whatever you need.

Direct founder access

No middle management. You'll be in the room where decisions happen.

Real ownership

You'll set strategy, not just execute someone else's. Equity conversations after 12 months if you're crushing it.

Screening call

Within 7–10 days, if we move you forward, you'll get an email to book a 20-minute screening call with the founder.

Paid test project

USD $75 paid

Top 3–5 candidates get invited to a paid test project. You do real tasks similar to the actual role.

Final interview

Top 2 candidates get a 60-minute interview with the founder.

Offer

One person gets an offer. Reference checks, contract, start date agreed within a week.

Is this a real full-time role?
Yes, 38 hours per week.
Can I be based outside the Philippines?
We're prioritizing PH-based candidates because of the timezone overlap and our budget. If you're elsewhere and exceptional, apply anyway β€” but the bar is higher.
Will you train me on Meta ads?
No. We're hiring a senior. We expect you to train us on what you're seeing.
Can I keep other clients?
Disclose them upfront and we'll discuss. One small ongoing client is sometimes fine. Three is not.
What's the long-term opportunity?
Lead our marketing function. Build a team under you. Equity conversations after 12 months if you're crushing it.
